PLANET S.A. is looking for enthusiastic, highly skilled Business Analysts. Our new colleagues will be involved in analyzing the business needs, as well as designing and participating in the implementation of IT solutions in the Greek banking sector.
Business Analyst (Ref. BA-SC3)
Scope: Business Analysis in a banking environment, ideally in one or more of the following areas:
- Retail Banking Loans with preferred experience in the following topics: Retail Loan products, Loans’ approval procedures, Loans’ administration, Collateral management, National Cadaster (Ktimatologio) procedures.
- Card Management with preferred experience in the following topics: Cards’ products & policies, Cards’ Organisations (VISA, Mastercard, etc), Cards’ operations, POS management, Cards’ Management Systems.
- Corporate Loans with preferred experience in the following topics: Corporate Loan products, Loans’ approval procedures, Loans’ administration, Credit limits, Client’s position, Collateral management, Post Dated cheques, Bonds’ loans administration, Letter of Guaranties.
- Trade Finance with preferred experience in the following topics: Import/Export operations, Collections, Letters of Credits, Payments’ orders, Foreign Letter of Guaranties.
- Alternative Channels with preferred experience in the following topics: Base24 or T24 system, ATMs Management, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, DIAS systems.
- Accounting and Financial Reporting in SAP Environment with preferred experience in the following topics: Greek Basic Accounting Acceptance Procedures, Branch Accounting, Foreign Exchange Accounting, IFRS, SAP Finance, SAP Costing, Business Consolidation and Budgeting procedures, Taxation procedures.
- Deposits & Funds Transfer with preferred experience in the following topics: Deposit products, DIAS systems, SWIFT, Payment Systems (Target), SEPA regulation, FATCA, Compliance procedures for anti-money laundering.
- Capital Markets with preferred experience in the following topics: Treasury operations, FX position, Derivative products, Mutual Funds, Bonds, MIFID, European Market Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR).
- Non-Performing Loans with preferred experience in the following topics: Loan products, Loans’ administration, Loans’ restructuring operations, Collateral management, NPL management operations.
- Big Data/Analytics with preferred experience in the following topics: Data mining tools, data modelling techniques, SQL databases, basic knowledge of programming languages and statistical software packages such as R, Java, MatLab or SPSS, Hadoop or MapReduce.
- Data Warehouse with preferred experience in the following topics: Business Objects, Designing, building, and supporting ETL processes, databases, reports, and reporting environments, Data cleansing.
- CRM with preferred experience in the following topics: CRM systems & tools, Contact Center operations, Data Models, Data Cleansing, Data integration.
Required Skills:
- University Degree in Computer Science or relevant field (postgraduate degree in Finance and Banking will be preferable).
- At least 3 years’ experience as a business analyst in software implementation projects for the banking sector
- Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English language
- Strong analytical and conceptual modeling skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- High level of accuracy with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively details and concepts
- Team worker, multi-tasking personality
- Fulfilled military service (for men)
