Business Restructuring Analyst (Ref. BRA-SC1)

Scope: Provide support to banking institutions in carrying out essential functions in the area of NPL Management, with particular focus on debt restructuring solutions to the banks’ customer base across many industry sectors.

 Responsibilities:

• Utilize business, finance, accounting, and analytical skills to perform tasks including, but not limited to: financial modeling, valuation, business process optimization, data analytics, financial statement review, and business plan assessments;
• Focus on executing commercial, financial & strategic due diligences from start to finish;
• Evaluate strategic and operational alternatives and develop or review recommendations of restructuring solutions based on current business and industry conditions;
• Support and monitor the implementation of credible restructuring solutions to companies and lenders, which may involve refinancing, debt/equity swap opportunities, etc;
• Collaborate with PLANET experts, professionals from other firms and bank’s personnel to achieve engagement objectives;
• Demonstrate the highest degree of professionalism, ethics, quality and integrity.

 Required Skills:

• University degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field (postgraduate degree in Financial, Economical and/or Business-related fields will be preferable);
• Minimum of five (5) years of work experience in strategy / business planning, market intelligence, quantitative analysis and financial modelling for various industry sectors; the specific industry sectors in which experience is possessed should be clearly listed;
• Ability to quickly understand and analyze companies’ operational and financial performance across any industry;
• Ability to review / develop complex cashflow forecasts to assess working capital requirements, determine longer-term business viability and establish valuation of companies;
• Related experience in financial institutions (in positions such as corporate credit analyst, debt refinancing/restructurings, NPL account manager, etc.) will be positively assessed;
• Profound financial and business analytical skills;
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, including narrative, visual, and data analysis using PowerPoint and Excel;
• Evidence of building and maintaining relationships with customers in a challenging and fast paced environment;
• Ability to work on own initiative and interact as part of a highly motivated team; multi-tasking personality;
• Ability to prioritize and plan to effectively achieve goals and to be dependable in consistently delivering reliable results within deadlines;
• Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in Greek and English;
• Fulfilled military service (if relevant).
