Athanasia Karachristou

Athanasia Karachristou joined PLANET in 2009 and currently serves as Head of the Business Acquisition Division of the International Business Unit. She has developed strong expertise in managing acquisition activities of donor-funded projects (ie EU, AfD, AfDB, World Bank, EIB, EBRD etc) worldwide, including coordination of the process of consortia set up, Expression of Interests and proposals preparation.  Athanasia brings a solid portfolio in Organizational Restructuring & Transformation, Capacity Building & Institutional Strengthening, and Policy and Programme Planning. She has contributed to numerous projects and tenders across a variety of sectors, including Employment, Social Security & Health, International Donors, Government, SMEs, Tourism & Leisure, and Transport. Athanasia holds a B.Sc. in Social Policy and Administration from Democritus University of Thrace and an MBA with a focus on Southeast European Countries from the University of Athens.
